IDX Stores has a variety of standard interactive dashboard reports for at-a-glance information. More comprehensive standard reports are available as a CSV download for further analytics. Custom reports are available as an additional service.
Basic interactive dashboards
Users with the Manage Analytics role can access the series of View Analytics pages. These pages host dashboards with simple filtering and sorting tools. Use these dashboards to check-in on your store status at any time.
Overview report
The overview report combines relevant summarized information from other reports. Use this report for a quick overview of the store’s primary metrics. It has various sections with toggles to show or hide selected data points.
Performance section
The performance section displays overall store statistics such as:
- Total sales
- Amount of orders
- Average order value
- Net discounts
- Shipping and tax fees
- And more
Charts section
Basic charts are helpful to compare store trends over time. These charts have the same statistic options as the performance section.
Leaderboard section
The leaderboards display a series of ranked store statistics. Use the leaderboards to keepo track of best-selling products or best performing campaigns that will guide your offer and inventory decisions. Leaderboards can contain up to the top 20 of the following categories:
- Top products by items sold
- Top categories by items sold
- Top customers by total spend
- Top coupons by number of orders
Orders report
The orders report contains both summarized visual charts and a list of orders within a certain time and / or within certain filters. Use the order report to find order trends, quickly scroll through orders, or filter for specific information. The visual chart only contains the following statistics:
- Orders
- Net sales
- Average order value
- Average items per order
While the list of orders displays the following in each row:
- Order date
- Order number
- Order status
- Customer
- Product(s)
- Items sold
- Coupon(s)
- Net sales
- Attribution
Both the visual chart and the list of orders can be additionally filtered by any combination of:
- Date range and comparison date range (which can be deactivated in the chart)
- Coupon code
- Customer type (new vs. returning)
- Products (by parent item like “Cotton Tee” or a variation like “Cotton Tee: Red, Small”)
- Sitewide product attributes (size, color, etc.)
- Order includes refund
Revenue report
The revenue report is a financially focused summary of store transactions. Use this report to analyze “top-of-the-funnel" finances. It is comparable to the individual Orders report, but Orders are bundled into daily statistics instead.
It is important to note this is a revenue report, not a profit report. This report can only include the information collected and stored in the store; information like product costs or invoiced shipping fees is not included.
The revenue report contains a visual chart and a list of daily summarized financial statistics. Refer to the “Default Analytics Terms” section of the documentation to understand these terms.
- Gross sales
- Returns
- Coupons
- Net sales
- Taxes
- Shipping
- Total sales
Products report
The products report provides a summarized visual chart and a list of all products on the store. Use this report as a deep dive into the store’s product statistics. The report can showcase all products or a single product. The product list columns include:
- Product name
- Product SKU
- Amount of items sold
- Net sales of product
- Orders that include this product
- Stock status*
- Stock number
* To better understand stock status, refer to the definitions in the stock report.
Stock report
The stock report features a list of all products and their stock status. All products on your store are either in the “inventory” (quick-ship) Use this report to monitor and manage your inventoried products. The stock status may be any of the following:
- N/A: If the stock status is “N/A,” it is most likely a parent product such as “Cotton Tee.” Since this is a parent product of variations such as “Cotton Tee, Red, Small,” the product “Cotton Tee” is never actually sold or stocked. Only its variations will have stock information.
- In stock (available for sale, regardless of inventory status): In this case, “in stock” does not necessarily mean an inventoried product with a certain amount of actual stock. It means that a product is currently available for sale. If the “Stock” column contains “N/A,” it means this is a product for sale on demand, not inventoried.
- Out of stock (unavailable for sale, regardless of inventory status): Much like “in stock,” this may mean that a non-inventoried product is simply currently not for sale. If the product is “out of stock” but the stock is “N/A,” it is a non-inventoried item that is not available at this time.
If the product is “out of stock” and the stock number says “0,” it is an inventory product that has legitimately run out of inventory. Focus on these products in the stock report, as this is the relevant data to make purchasing decisions.
- Low stock: Your store has a sitewide low stock minimum. To view your low stock items, select “Show: Low stock” at the top of the stock report. Examine your low stock frequently and adjust your sitewide stock minimum if necessary.
Standard basic downloadable CSVs
Although the interactive dashboards are helpful for quick analysis, downloadable spreadsheets that contain the same information are easier to sort, manipulate, and analyze.
Any dashboard that contains a list of items can be exported to a CSV file. Use the “Download” button at the top of any list.
If the list of items is less than one page, your CSV will be downloaded immediately. If the list is longer, your CSV will be emailed to you.
Standard advanced analytics reportsSome stores require more advanced reports. Advanced reports contain more information and can be customized based on the needs of the store. Most advanced reporting is provided via a CSV file.
Currently, advanced stock reports are available upon request. Accessing, customizing, and downloading an advanced report will eventually be available to any analytics manager.
Advanced order reportsOrders contain dozens of data points: addresses, line items, custom fields, purchaser information, and additional meta data. The CSV can then be filtered and analyzed in any which way the analyst requires. Advanced reports contain:

Advanced offer (coupon) reports
Stores may launch coupon campaigns or offer store credit to users. Offers can be difficult to analyze via interactive dashboards. Request an advanced offer report when examining the balances of user store credit, the usage of certain discount codes, and much more.
Important note: It is difficult to categorize and sort through offers, as they are usually only referenced by a coupon code and a small description. When you request offers from the account manager or launch your own campaigns, make sure to add unique identifiers, such as a standard prefix or suffix for that campaign.
Offer reports contain:
|

Custom analytics reports
Store managers can also request custom analytics reports from an account manager.
Custom reporting is a paid service, and 30 days' notice is required before receiving the first custom report. Any report or data point not available in the standard basic or standard advanced reports will be considered a custom request. Any re-configuration or pre-analysis of a standard report is also considered customization.
Custom reports may require the development of new features, the recording of new data, or manual collection of data from other sources outside of the store. The account manager and the development team will discuss your reporting needs before providing a quote and executing work. Depending on the amount of manual work required, each newly-generated report will also require developer hours.
Standard Google Analytics reportsYour IDX Store may be connected to a Google Analytics account provided by IDX Brands. You can access your Google Analytics account via the View Analytics dashboard page. This will take you off the IDX Store platform onto the Google Analytics platform.
You must provide your account manager with the email addresses that should be given access to your store Google Analytics account.
Your Google Analytics account is helpful for analyzing pre-sale and marketing data:
- Sources of traffic
- Geolocations of traffic
- Most viewed products
- Cart abandonment rates
- Checkout abandonment rates
